THE COMPANY OF THE DAUGHTERS OF CHARITY GETS A NEW SUPERIORESS GENERAL

Sr. Kathleen Appler, an American from the Province of St. Louise, USA, has been elected the new Superioress General of the Company of the Daughters of Charity for the next six years. The election took place on 25th May, 2015 after a day of prayer by members of the 9th General Assembly who are gathered at the Motherhhouse of the Daughters of Charity in Paris.
Sr. Kathleen has served the Company as a General Councillor since 2009 and has great wealth of experience in the field of education and in the life of the company.
We congratulate Sr. Kathleen and pray for God's grace upon her as she takes up the leadership of the company for the next few years!
